

What ages do you serve?
Current students are ages 2-12 years old. We will consider older and
younger students.
What are your Center’s hours?
Our school hours are 9am-2pm. Clinic hours are until 5pm, Monday-Friday.
Do you accept only children with Autism?
No. We accept any child with Autism or any related developmental disability.
Is there a waiting list?
No. We currently do not have a waiting list.
Is there funding available?
We currently accept the Georgia
Special Needs Scholarship (SB-10 funds).
Do you have Speech Therapists or Occupational Therapists on staff?
No. Our area of expertise is in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis
(ABA). However, many of the goals in an ABA curriculum may overlap with
goals being worked on by a Speech Therapist or Occupational Therapist.

How are goals/objectives determined?
Students will be assessed using the ABLLS-R, daily data collection,
observation, developmental evaluations and past IEP goals.
What type of training is provided for staff?
All staff are trained on-site in Applied Behavior
Analysis/VB in addition
to daily supervision by the Directors.
How many teachers will work with my child?
If your child attends the Full-day Program, they will have one instructor
in the morning and a second instructor in the afternoon. If your child
attends the Half-day Program, they will have one instructor. The classroom
program is staffed with a 1:2 teacher-student ratio.
How many hours should my child attend the Clinic?
We
recommend your child attend the Summit Learning Center no less than two sessions
per week for at least one and half hours per session.
Who are the instructors for Clinic?
Our full-time staff are available for clinic hours based on availability. Your
child will be assigned to one of our staff members who will remain their clinic
instructor.
Do you provide instructors for home-based programs?
Our staff provide therapy on-site only. The only instruction given at
your home is consultation services provided by one of the Directors.
